shimano aero 8000 gte baitrunner reel – Fish For Tackle 7 composite 2x Shimano BAITRUNNER AERO GTE

#2: Abu Garcia Black Max Abu Garcia Black Max is another great baitcasting reel made by reputable manufacturer

There has been a pretty good yellowfin and school bluefin bite in the 50 to 70 mile range

Abu Garcia Revo SX Specifications Pros & Cons Pros Smooth casting, reeling, and drag Power to winch in big fish Comfortable in the hand Lightweight & compact Well built Cons Not cheap ($180) If you want a step up in performance from the Shimano SLX but dont quite have the coin to jump to the Shimano Curado 150M, the Abu Garcia Revo SX ($190) is a fantastic option

Also, like I mentioned earlier, this is a really convenient system if you store your boat in a garage

However I found it also snaps very easily if the spool stops turning while the lure is in the air (on a bad cast usually)
